Problem
Nearly 70% of children in South Sudan are not in school. Over 80% of the population lives in poverty. Decades of conflict have destroyed educational infrastructure and broken the pipeline of educated citizens that functioning societies depend on. Without quality education, young people are more likely to enter cycles of violence and poverty. South Sudan needs a generation of ethical, educated leaders to drive peace and development.
